Opportunities for Advocacy

“There is power in numbers and there is power in unity” – Martin Luther King JR.

Just Neighbors seeks the involvement of both clients and members of the community to advocate for different immigration issues. Currently, some examples of hot topics in the world of immigration is opposing the administration’s decision to rescind DACA, pushing for drivers license for all regardless of immigration status, closing detention centers, and stopping the separation of detained children from their parents. There are many ways you can get involved in advocating for issues that you feel passionate about, from signing petitions to joining rallies and anything in-between.
