The Latest News on DACA at Just Neighbors
INITIAL DACA - Recently a federal district court judge in the Eastern District of NY ruled that DHS must begin to accept and adjudicate Initial DACA applications which the Trump Administration has refused to do since 2017. DHS appears to be complying with the Judge's order. In addition, the incoming Biden administration has promised to reinstate DACA in its entirety. This is welcome news for many who have been hoping to apply for DACA for the first time.
Just Neighbors WILL BE accepting clients who wish to file for DACA for the first time. We have no more available appointments in December but hope to start scheduling clients in January 2021.
