Types of Cases

Welcome to Just Neighbors, a partnership with the immigrant community of northern Virginia! If you are seeking immigration legal help, we would like to assist you in achieving your dreams and in providing a safe and secure future for you and your family.

In order to qualify for services with Just Neighbors, you must:

  1. live in the northern Virginia area;
  2. earn 200% or less of the federal poverty guidelines;
  3. you must have a case type which falls under one of the following:

  • Employment authorization (work permit) applications and renewals
  • Permanent residence (Green Card) applications
  • Petitions to remove conditional residence, including battered spouse waivers
  • Self-petitions under VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) for victims of domestic violence
  • Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applications and re-registration
  • U visas for victims of violent crimes
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
  • T visas for victims of trafficking
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) status for clients not in removal proceedings
  • Asylum
  • Consular processing
  • Family-based visas
  • Fiancé(e) visas
  • Labor certification
  • NACARA applications
  • Naturalization
  • Religious worker visas
  • Removal or deportation proceedings
  • Student visas
  • Visitor visas
