Welcome (back) Genesis!

Just Neighbors is pleased to announce Genesis Lazo as our new development associate. Genesis was a fellow at Just Neighbors in 2016 through the Shinnyo Foundation where she worked on development and outreach. She became a member of the Just Neighbors Board of Directors in 2017 while she worked full time as a development assistant at Pathways to Housing, DC. Genesis is a graduate of the George Mason University School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. “It is a truly a dream come true to be back at Just Neighbors connecting our community to the work that we do to help immigrants and refugees.” As Genesis takes on managing our communications and fundraising campaigns, she will likely be reaching out to you for your input and support; don’t hesitate to contact her with questions or suggestions. We are thrilled to have Genesis back on our staff and look forward to everything she has to offer our clients!
