Our Greatest Accomplishments
Just Neighbors partnered with local organizations to host ‘Ask An Attorney’ sessions, providing legal information and referrals to 942 immigrants. This 70% increase from last year reflects our commitment to meeting community needs and expanding access to legal resources for immigrant families.
Just Neighbors expanded the Children’s Program in 2025, which allowed us to help more vulnerable immigrant children than any other year. We increased the number of children served by nearly 30%—providing legal support and stability to 465 young clients.
Highlighting the gifts and the strengths of immigrants, the Just Neighbors community advocated for immigrants’ rights on the local, state, and federal level to make our communities more equitable and just for all, no matter their immigration status.
In 2025, Just Neighbors expanded our reach by growing our Maryland team and opening a permanently staffed office in Winchester, Virginia—strengthening our ability to serve more refugees, asylees, and immigrant families across both urban and rural communities.

WHAT DO JUST NEIGHBORS CLIENTS SAY?
We can spend all day telling you about Just Neighbors and how we think we're positively impacting our clients. Instead, see what they have to say about their own experiences.
Everything that you all do helps the community, please continue doing this for us. Immigrants need people like you to help us. All of the people treated me with dignity and never made me feel bad for not having documents when I arrived at Just Neighbors.
One day I was praying and asked God to help me to get my work permit, but God granted me the ability to become a citizen of this beautiful country the USA. My life has completely changed thanks to God and Just Neighbors.
Thanks to them I have my papers, and I no longer live in fear. Thanks to Just Neighbors for the work they did. My life is more peaceful now.
From the moment I reached out to them for assistance, I was met with professionalism, compassion, and expertise that truly set them apart. The staff were not only knowledgeable about the complexities of immigration laws and processes, but they took the time to explain everything to me in a clear and concise manner. Their dedication to providing accurate information and guidance was evident in every interaction I had with them.
We Love Our Volunteers!
Without our volunteers, Just Neighbors would not be able to serve as many immigrant families as we do every year. In fact, they helped to extend our budget by more than 35%! The incredible generosity of our team of 225 volunteers helps to answer every single request for assistance we receive to make sure every single person leaves Just Neighbors with more resources than before. Without them, we would not have the same impact. We cannot thank them enough for their time! We truly appreciate each and every one of you!
How This is Made Possible
We truly wouldn't be able to serve as many immigrants and their families without generous donors, foundations, faith communities, businesses, and government support. Thank you for your continued support!
