Community Defender Training – National Immigration Project
On Wednesday January 29, The National Immigration Project is hosting a free webinar for community defenders, advocates, and impacted community members to go over the basics of what you can do to protect yourself and your community in the face of potential immigration enforcement.
We will have simultaneous interpretation in Spanish and Haitian Creole during this webinar and we will consider requests for interpretation in other languages as we receive them.
This webinar is intended for organizers, impacted community members, and other community defenders who are not lawyers. Click this link to register: Webinar Registration – Zoom
The meeting was at capacity. I hope there is a recording shared with those of us who registered but were not let in.
Hello Lori. Unfortunately, the meeting was not recorded. However, I do have the PowerPoint slides from the meeting. Email me at andrew@justneighbors.org and I will email them to you. Thanks!
